Local Kwoon

Although the concept of Amazon Nation was originally only for internet instruction, local students have always been a vital part of the kwoon (school.) Classes were taught in a variety of locations until 2006, when the official White Lion Martial Arts/Amazon Nation kwoon opened it's doors in Dawson Creek, BC. Small group, family and personal classes are offered to children, teens, and adults. A unique offering of WLMA/AN is the family class, where parents and children (age 6 and over) can take class together. The area for one on one and group coaching is from Fort St John, BC to Grande Prairie, Alberta and in between. Of course, if a student wishes to travel further for personal lessons, they will be accommodated.

The benefits of local instruction are face to face interaction and the opportunity to work out with other Amazons in Training. Occasional Competitions and opportunities to show your skills to others will be scheduled in the future.

Internet Students will also be able to participate in these Competitions by submitting tapes for the Kata Classes. We want everyone to have the experience. Whether taught in Cyber Space or Locally, each Amazon In Training gets the same quality instruction and one on one attention.
